SpicyNodes opens up new methods of organizing information. You’re working in what is essentially three-dimensional space, two dimensions of X & Y, plus a third temporal dimension of time, as the layouts rearrange as the reader clicks through and refocuses the nodes. In other words, readers don’t have to travel in a linear fashion from one nugget of information to the next. It’s helpful to begin “thinking nodefully.” Instead of thinking in narrative form, begin breaking down information into small morsels. Nodemaps are maps to information.
